Made with locally grown Yamada Nishiki rice from Mie Prefecture, polished to 40%, this sake represents the pinnacle of the brewery’s craftsmanship. From rice preparation and brewing to bottling, Toji Tomohiro Uchiyama pours all of his skill, experience, and passion into every stage of production.
This is the brewery’s highest-quality shizuku sake, collected only from the precious droplets that fall naturally under their own weight, without applying any pressure during pressing.
It also earned an impressive third place in the Freestyle Division of SAKE COMPETITION 2014, one of the world’s largest sake competitions by number of entries.
Above all, what sets this sake apart is its extraordinary elegance. A gorgeous, expressive aroma is layered with remarkable depth and a lustrous richness, creating a truly regal presence—an exquisite sake worthy of bearing the name “Crown.”

Brewery Story
Crafted with local water and rice.
Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, founded in 1869, is located in Suzuka, which is famous for its Formula One race track. In this region, which is blessed with limpid subterranean water from the Suzuka Mountains and high-quality rice from the Ise Plain, the brewing industry has long flourished. But many of these breweries have been forced out of business, and Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten is now the only brewery in Suzuka. The brewery uses mainly Mie rice grown by local contract farmers and brews on a small scale all year round. The brewery aims to craft a light sake that smoothly harmonizes with food, in pursuit of sake that fits with today's diverse cuisines.
