Shipping Schedule
Orders placed before 0:00 am JST will be processed the next day and will be shipped on the next day at the earliest. We ship all-year round except for Sundays and Japanese National Holidays. Our warehouse is based near Nagoya located in the Gifu. Usually your order will be delivered via DHL and EMS to your door in 4-10 business days, assuming there are no issues with the delivery or custom clearance. For unexpected reasons there might be the possibility of delay.
Shipping Fees
For Germany and Belgium we can only ship with EMS by the Japanese Post. For all other countries we can either ship with DHL. The maximum number of bottles per order is six. If you want to order more than 6 bottles, please split the orders up. The allowed number of bottles may vary depending on the country. Please confirm with your local customs office beforehand if needed.
The shipping fees are automatically added to your order depending on the number of bottles you have ordered and where the bottles are shipped to. We use the weight of your order to calculate the accurate shipping rates.
Please note that the shipping cost may change without any notice.
Taxes & Duties
The shipping costs are automatically added to your cart during checkout. Any payable taxes or custom duties are not included in the charged price and have to be covered by the buyer. We ship all orders by "duties and taxes unpaid". For more information, please confirm with your local custom authority.
Other Remarks
Please note that we cannot offer cooled delivery internationally. We accept your order in any season, but we recommend ordering in the colder months of the year in order to ensure the quality of the sake. For this reason we mostly offer pasteurized sake.
We package the sake bottles with utmost care. We use a dedicated carton box and also make use of buffer materials that protect the bottles from damage.
