Yes. Many of our customers abroad order from overseas and have the bottles delivered to family, friends or business partners in Japan. Simply enter the recipient’s address at checkout.
Yes, we can deliver to hotels in Japan. Please add the hotel name and your check-in date in the order notes so that the front desk can hold the parcel for you.
For orders within Japan, yes — refrigerated delivery can be arranged on request. For international orders we are not able to offer refrigerated shipping.
We taste and select every bottle ourselves, working directly with breweries across Japan. Rather than stocking only the best-known names, we choose sake on taste — from long-established houses and young breweries alike.
Simply use the search button to look for a sake by name. If looking for a specific characteristic then please check out the different sake categories in the main menu. You can find sake categorized by type, region, flavor, and brewery. We regularly add new sake, so we encourage you to browse often. Shipping
Yes, on the order status page you should find the order tracking number. Please note that you will need to check either DHL or Japan Post EMS service for details on your order, details can be found here.
We will process your order within 2 business days after you ordered. Depending on your country shipping typically takes 4-9 days. Please note that during the New Years holiday and consecutive public holidays the delivery might take one day longer.
Shipping is not cheap. However, since we cut out most of the middlemen (exporters, importers, distributors, etc.) the total cost of your sake will still be competitive. One tip: the more expensive the bottle of sake, the more you will save since shipping is fixed per weight but middlemen mark up the sake in percentages. So, for example, a sake that costs 3'000 yen in Japan might cost 3'000 yen to ship but would costs around 10'000 yen in some countries.
Yes. We ship within Japan as well as overseas. For orders within Japan, refrigerated delivery can also be arranged on request.
Yes. We currently ship to 15 countries, and more are planned. For more information please check out the delivery information.
Unfortunately we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
No, our shipping partner will take care of the import process. They may, depending on the country, get in touch with you and ask you to provide information to process your order (for example if you are buying for yourself or a business).
Returns
Unfortunately, because the sake will be exported, shipped internationally and imported, we are not able to accept returns. If you should face an issue however, please contact us and we'll try to make it right.
If your shipment is incomplete or damaged, please contact us to sort things out. Please make sure to provide details regarding what was missing or damaged so we can find a solution as efficiently as possible.
Payments
The prices shown on our store are net of taxes. You will be charged sales taxes or VAT, duties and other fees depending on your country. These can range from 0% to 80% and more. Please get in touch with the customs in your country to confirm details.

The promo code might not work multiple reasons. Please make sure that you are logged in from the right account and try again. The promo code is only valid for a certain amount of time. Please confirm the expiration date as well. Just in case, check also for uppercase and lowercase letters as the promo code is case sensitive. Try to copy and paste the promo code exactly as provided.
