A superb sake that is not only rich in flavor and umami but also surprisingly low in alcohol. Made from Omachi rice that is known for its earthy notes and rich texture, this sake is balanced and great for beginners as well as longer sessions (which some unnamed persons at Kurashu are prone to doing with this sake).

Sake to Celebrate
The name Fukuiwai's two Japanese characters stand for 'fortune' and 'celebration', and their sakes are designed to be reflective of that. Made to be easy to pair with food and having a good balance of aroma and taste, they are both unique and approachable and ideal for a 'celebration'. This sake takes it's name from the thirteen percent of alcohol it has, which makes it an ideal for those looking for a lighter alcohol version that doesn't taste watered-down (sake usually has some 15 to 20% of alcohol).
